Like most of us, you love the great outdoors and the peace and tranquility in which it offers .We all look forward at one time or another to relieving our day to day stress by relaxing and unwinding at our favorite natural outdoor Oasis. A sanctuary where we can dwell in the songs and serenity of Mother Nature. Many home owners are now including rock gardens, waterfalls, and ponds in their landscaping plans to further enjoy Mother Nature full benefits in their own backyard.

Just imagine your very own backyard Oasis... a place where you and your family can relax and unwind while enjoying all the wonderful wildlife and plant life in your own backyard habitat. Your family, friends, and your neighbors will be envious of the beautiful ambiance surrounding your home. Everyone will absolutely love it. Imagine a wayward trip that once took precious time out of your day to that Natural Outdoor Oasis... is now merely a few feet away from your own back door!

Depending on your geographical location, your backyard Oasis will surely attract numerous varieties of birds, small animals, and even certain insects, all of which are attracted to your water source. A good idea would be for you to obtain some books with photographs showing all the different types of birds, small animals, and insects that thrive in your area, which could and most likely will pay your backyard Oasis a temporary.... if not permanent visit. I personally enjoy sitting out on my backyard deck, coffee in hand, listening to the sound of running water, and watching my prized Koi and Gold fish perform their little tricks and stunts and the birds and wildlife bathing and drinking out of my pond. It just such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Once you decide to go ahead and build your backyard Oasis and pond, make sure that wherever you place your pond there is adequate access to an electrical source which will be required to run your ponds pumps, filters, and any other electrical pond accessories you may need or desire. I installed and cemented in next to my pond a 4 x 4 wooden post with an outdoor electrical box which allowed me to plug-in all of my pond equipment, reducing the hazardous task of having to run outdoor extension cords above ground. The best location for your pond would be a place that is clean and free from any debris or waste material that would likely enter the pond and harming or even killing your fish. Choosing a shady area will help moderate water temperatures and provide some cover for your fish. You can design your pond using a pre-formed unit, cement, or rubber lining, and filtration system of you âre choosing.


Speaking of fish, you may want to add some to your backyard pond and if so, I would suggest that you check with your local pet store in your area to see what types of fish are suitable for your pond, and the caring and maintenance of same. In my case I discovered that a mix of Koi and Gold fish thrived very well in my pond, and soon became very friendly pets. There are a wide variety of colors and types in which you can select. Be aware though....the addition of any fish to your pond can and most likely will attract certain types of predators.

There is nothing worse than caring for and raising your prized Koi and Gold fish only to lose them to a predator like the famous “Blue Heron” whom in my neck of the woods thrives on feeding on outdoor pond fish. It’s a good idea to have fish that are a little less colourful and camouflaged, which will increase their survival rate, however there is no guarantee... so what I did was purchase a net from my local pet supply store and whenever I was away for any length of time, I covered my pond with the netting and protected my prized fish from predators. Believe it or not, I even once had a “Cat” reach into the pond for a fish....falling in and having a heck of a time getting back out. Funny thing is I never ever saw that cat back in my little Oasis again.

A few things you should take note of here when it comes to adding fish to your pond. Generally and within reason, Koi and Gold fish will grow in size to that of their environment. This simply means that the larger your pond, the larger they will grow depending again on the number of fish you plan on raising. My pond was approximately 6’ wide X 12’ long, and 36” deep and held approximately 1200 gallons of water. During the winter months with this depth and the fact that I kept my pond pump circulating under water, I prevented my pond from freezing over. I also installed a small pond heater for these cold months, and my fish survived the winter just fine. I had a total of six fish with each ranging in size from 10” to 15” in length.

Roy Suryo VS Ruby Alamsyah, Pihak bank perlu intensif menyosialisasikan soal keamanan di ATM , termasuk keberadaan antiskimmer yang belum banyak diketahui nasabah.

Menurut Ahli Forensik Digital Ruby Alamsyah, hal ini untuk mencegah pembobolan rekening nasbah dengan menggunakan alat skimmer dan kamera mikro di ATM. Skimmer adalah alat untuk mencuri nomor PIN yang diletakan di mulut ATM.

Ruby Alamsyah seorang ahli forensik IT. Dia mengungkapkan sebenarnya sudah ada antiskimmer tapi belum digunakan di semua ATM. Masyarat juga banyak yang tidak tahu keberadaan antiskimmer ini karena minim sosialisasi. "Karena ada kasus, maka saat ini waktu yang pas bagi pihak bank untuk sosialisasi sebagai upaya preventif," saran paparnya saat berbincang dengan okezone via telepon, Kamis (21/1/2010).

Mengenai usul kepolisian untuk mengganti PIN dengan sidik jari, Ruby mengatakan boleh-boleh saja usul tersebut. Namun semuanya terpulang pada kebijakan bank masing-masing.

Begitu juga dengan alternatif perubahan sistem magnetik dalam ATM yang selama ini digunakan dengan chip karena lebih aman juga masih perlu dipertimbangkan. Pasalnya, harus mengganti semua ATM yang biayanya mahal.

Dia menyatakan modus pembobolan rekening nasabah bukan dilakukan oleh hacker. Hal ini senada dengan tanggapan Komunitas White Hacker Yogyafree yang menyatakan pembobolan tersebut tidak dilakukan mengunakan teknik hacking atupun teknik serangan virus.

Pembobolan uang nasabah di sejumlah bank di Bali adalah menggunakan teknik skimmer yakni memakai alat pencuri nomor PIN dan perekam dengan kamera mikro. "Saya pastikan pembobolan rekening nasabah bukan oleh hacker, tapi menggunakan ATM skimmer," ujarnya.

Analisa ini diperoleh dari pendalaman kasus yang terjadi di Jakarta dan tersangkanya berhasil ditangkap. "Modus dan alat yang digunakan sama, yaitu skimmer dan kamera di ATM," ujar dia.

Menurut Ruby, kasus pembobolan perbankan di Indonesia yang melibatkan hacker terbilang jarang terjadi. "Dulu sempat terjadi saat launching pertama klik BCA, karena ada celah disusupi hacker. Tapi sekarang sudah aman," ungkap dia

CCTV Pembobol ATM yang telah menjadi santapan publik itu, memberikan sedikt harapan pada kita semua, bahwa pihak kepolisian akan segera dapat menangkap para penjahat Pembobol ATM yang telah meresahkan masyarakat kita semua. dengan adanya CCTV tersebut, kejahatan ini dapat segera diungkap dalam waktu yang tidak terlalu lama lagi.

Pihak bank tidak dapat membedakan pengambilan dana dari ATM oleh nasabah atau bukan. Bukti satu-satunya adalah rekaman CCTV . Bagaimana caranya meminta ganti kalau menggalami pembobolan?

Menurut Director Compliance & Human Capital Bank Mandiri, Bambang Setiawan, untuk Bank Mandiri nasabah dipersilahkan telepon ke call center di 14.000 untuk melaporkan rekeningnya berkurang. "Nasabah cukup membawa kartu ATM dan buku tabungan ke cabang terdekat," katanya kepada kepada wartawan kami, Kamis (21/1).

Pihak bank akan memeriksa rekening tersebut. Kalau ternyata terjadi pengembilan dana tetapi tidak diakui nasabah maka bank akan membuktikan dengan rekaman CCTV. Sebab dari sisi bank tidak ada bedanya yang mengambil dana dilakukan nasabah atau pembobol. "Tetapi kami memiliki bukti rekaman CCTV di ATM. Untuk diakurkan pada jam yang sama," jelasnya.

Bambang memeberikan ilustrasi, misalnya seorang nasabah merasa ATM-nya dibobol pada pukul 13.00 pihak bank akan mencocokkan dengan rekaman CCTV di ATM di mana terjadi penarikan. Kalau dari rekaman ternyata orangya beda dengan nasabah yang melapor maka telah terjadi pembobolan.

Sedangkan untuk nasabah BNI, menurut Sekretaris Perusahaan BNI Intan Adams Katoppo BNI akan melakukan identifikasi dan verifikasi berdasarkan adanya laporan berkurangnya saldo beberapa nasabah perbankan akibat transaksi mencurigakan. Jika laporan tersebut ternyata terbukti ada hal yang disebabkan oleh faktor di luar kelalaian nasabah, BNI akan mengganti dana nasabahnya yang menjadi korban dalam waktu 2 x 24 jam setelah adanya hasil verifikasi. "Bagi nasabah yang merasa mengalami hal tersebut, dapat melaporkan ke cabang BNI terdekat atau call-center BNI 021-57899999," sarannya.

Sedangkan di BCA menurut Wakil Presdir BCA, Jahja Setiatmadja menjelaskan prosedurnya menghubungi Halo BCA dengan nomor 500888 atau (021)500888 dari telepon genggam.

Setelah itu langkah berikutnya, nasabah mendatangi kantor cabang tempat membuka rekening BCA. Pelaporan dilakukan dengan menyertakan buku rekening, kartu ATM dan kartu indentitas. Pelacakan aliran dana dilakukan dari print out buku rekening tersebut. "Dalam waktu 1 X 24 jam kita kembalikan dananya," katanya.

The Alleged Batman VS Superman Film

For several years now, a batman vs superman film has been rumored, but has never come to fruition. Dating back to 2001, the film came to be after a JJ Abrams script rebooting the superman franchise was shelved. Abrams' film had nothing to do with batman vs superman, but rather an origin story for the man of steel. Andrew Kevin Walker, however, pitched the idea of a batman vs superman film and Abrams' idea was shelved.

In 2002, Akiva Goldsman wrote a draft for the potential batman vs superman film that depicted a Bruce Wayne retired from being batman and dealing with the deaths of Dick Grayson, Alfred Pennyworth and Commissioner Gordon. Clark Kent had divorced Lois Lane and was Bruce's best man at his wedding to a woman named Elizabeth Miller, who was tragically killed by the Joker on their honeymoon. This led to Bruce Wayne putting on the cowl and cape once more, and thus setting the stage for the batman vs superman film.

Matt Damon was one of the choices for either role in this projected batman vs superman film. Director Wolfgang Peterson wanted someone who could really act, citing Tobey Maguire from the Spider-Man films as reference. Other actors considered included Johnny Depp, James Franco, Colin Farrell, Paul Walker and Jude Law. The studio approached Christian Bale to take on the role of batman in both this film and batman: year one, which he ultimately chose and was renamed to batman begins, and Josh Hartnett for Superman.

The batman vs superman film was supposed to begin filming in 2003 with a summer 2004 release date. The film was to serve as a reboot for both popular, but all but dead franchises. However, Peterson left the project to direct Troy, and instead of finding another director, the studio shelved the film and went ahead with batman begins, and then superman returns, one of which went on to critical acclaim, the other being a bitter disappointment.

In the Will Smith driven film I Am Legend, there was a billboard with both the batman and superman symbols on it, which led many people to believe that the long rumored batman vs superman film was coming down the pike. But as it turns out, it was an in-joke by Goldsman, who also wrote the script for I Am Legend. So as it stands now, the batman vs superman film is not going to happen, or at least not anytime soon, much to the chagrin of fans long awaiting the groundbreaking film.

Gempa Haiti Tewaskan 16 Staf PBB

Gempa Haiti, PBB, Rabu (13/1) mengatakan, sedikitnya 16 anggota misi perdamaiannya di Haiti tewas, akibat tertimpa bangunan markas besar dan bangunan lainnya yang runtuh menyusul gempa bumi 7,0 SR mengguncang negara tersebut, Selasa (12/1). Diperkirakan korban tewas akan bertambah.

Sekjen PBB Ban Ki-moon mengatakan 11 warga Brasil, tiga Jordania, satu Argentina, dan satu warga Kanada tewas. Susana Malcorra, seorang pejabat senior penjaga perdamaian PBB, menyebutkan pada awalnya jumlah mereka yang terluka 56 orang.

Kepala penjaga perdamaian PBB Alain Le Roy menyatakan korban tewas PBB itu diperkirakan akan bertambah dengan cepat ketika para pekerja pertolongan melakukan pencarian dii reruntuhan markas lima lantai itu dan bangunan lainnya. "Jumlah korban tewas dan cedera itu akan sangat tinggi," ujarnya pada wartawan.

Le Roy dan Malcorra menjelaskan sekitar 150 anggota staf PBB masih hilang, di antara mereka kepala misi penjaga perdamaian PBB di Haiti (MINUSTAH), Hedi Annabi, dan wakilnya.

Presiden Haiti Rene Preval menyatakan bahwa Annabi, seorang warga Tunisia yang diperkirakan berusia 65 tahun, telah dipastikan tewas, tapi para pejabat PBB menyampaikan keraguan pada ucapannya itu.

"Kami menyadari laporan berita yang dikaitkan dengan Presiden Preval bahwa Annabi dipastikan telah tewas itu," kata jurubicara penjaga perdamaian PBB Nicholas Birnback.

"Kami telah berhubungan dengan misi PBB di Haiti ... dan dengan misi tetap Haiti untuk PBB, dan tak ada yang bisa mengkonfirmasi informasi itu," jelasnya, dan menambahkan bahwa badan dunia itu telah meminta klarifikasi mengenai pernyataan Preval tersebut.

Le Roy mengatakan Annabi berada di bangunan itu pada saat gempa dan bahwa ia diduga termasuk di antara mereka yang terperangkap dalam reruntuhan markas besar MINUSTAH.

Juru bicara PBB Martin Nesirky mengatakan kerusakan negara itu sangat luas dan "puluhan, jika tidak ratusan ribu rumah" rusak akibat gempa, yang melanda Selasa sore.

Misi PBB itu bermarkas besar di bekas Hotel Christopher di Ibu Kota port-au-Prince, tempat staf administrasi bekerja. Sebagian besar dari 9.000 tentara dan polisi MINUSTAH tinggal di tempat lainnya.

Kepala urusan kemanusiaan PBB John Holmes mengatakan sebelumnya bahwa antara tiga juta dan 3,5 orang yang tinggal di wilayah itu terpengaruh oleh goncangan keras pada saat gempa itu dan gempa susulannya. Tidak jelas berapa banyak orang yang tewas. "Laporan awal memberi kesan jumlah korban tinggi," kata Holmes. Preval menyatakan ia mendengar korban tewas seluruhnya diperkirakan sebanyak 50.000 orang.

Sekjen PBB Ban Ki-moon menjelaskan ia telah mengirim wakil Le Roy, Edmont Mulet, ke Haiti. Le Roy menambahkan Mulet akan tiba dan mengambilalih sebagai penjabat kepala MINUSTAH Kamis ketika para pekerja bantuan mencari Annabi.

Sekjen PBB itu juga mengatakan 10 juta dolar akan dikeluarkan dengan segera dari dana tanggap darurat pusat badan dunia itu guna membantu upaya bantuan.

Holmes menyatakan PBB akan melancarkan seruan kilat untuk mengumpulkan lebih banyak dana untuk Haiti dalam beberapa hari kedepan. Ban mengatakan badan dunia itu kemudian akan mengadakan konferensi donor untuk membantu Haiti pulih dari gempa

How do I date beautiful women, even celebrities?

Are you a guy who’s interested not only in dating beautiful women, even celebrities, but would like to get beautiful women to approach YOU first? Can it really be done? The answer is an unqualified “yes” IF you know what to say and do, and what to avoid saying and doing.

Most guys have no clue about the day to day life of stunningly beautiful women. Now, that’s not to say these beautiful women don’t want to meet men… because they do. Many of them desperately. But beautiful women like a guy who’ll say something different to them, something unusual, something that will create attraction in them. And most of all beautiful women crave a man who “defines authority” for them, one who is not intimidated by their looks (or fame). Let me give you an example.

I’m in the business of teaching other guys how to get desirable, beautiful women to approach them first for a date, no matter their looks, age or income (see www.womenapproachyou.com). And while I rarely take clients, occasionally I’ll make a mistake and let someone talk me into helping them.

A few weeks ago I was working with a guy who was desperately in need of help. Like I always do, I asked him, “What specifically do you want in beautiful women? What don’t you want? And most importantly, what’s your ideal experience with a woman?” Most of guys, of course, have no specific answers to these questions—and if you don’t know what you’re looking for, it’s extremely difficult to achieve any measure of success—whether with beautiful women or in any area of your life.

This guy, amazingly enough, didn’t pause with his answer: “I’d like to sex Paris Hilton—and other beautiful women” he leered. I was a bit taken aback—apparently I don’t speak the “new lingo.” “Sex Paris Hilton,” I said. “What the heck does that mean, sex Paris Hilton?”

“It means I’d like to get with her you know, sex her up, sex Paris Hilton—or a woman like her.” Ah-ha. “So your goal is to share a few adventures with celebrities, or beautiful women who look like celebrities?” He nodded eagerly—“I’ll settle for a look-alike,” he said, “but what do I say, what do I do to get beautiful women to even speak to me?”

Here’s what I told him in regards to beautiful women: first off, get all thoughts of lust out of your head. If you want to spend time with beautiful women, you need to get to know them as people first.

Here’s what to do: when you see a beautiful woman (or beautiful women) you want to approach, look her in the eye, and smile slightly, using your “naughty little boy smile.” Your intent is to make her smile back at you, while you continue to hold her gaze, and smile wider and “naughtier.” Look for something unusual about her that few other guys would notice, and bring it to her attention. For example:

“You look like a well-conditioned athlete… what are you training for?”

“Hmmm, that’s a most unusual tattoo… what made you decide to get that particular one?”

“That’s a very professional looking business suit… what’s the occasion for dressing so professionally?”

“You have a great energy, much like my friends in the martial arts… what kind of physical training do you do to have such a great energy… or is it just natural?”

Or if all else fails, “What are smiling about… remembering something that makes you grin?”

The key is to notice something about her environment, and ask her an open ended question letting her know you’re sincerely curious about her. Don’t tell her, “you’re a beautiful woman and I like beautiful women.” She’s heard that. You want to give her an opportunity to talk about herself, something few guys ever do. They’re trying to impress her, instead of shutting up, listening and letting her impress herself about you.

By doing this, you let her know you’re interested in her as a person (as opposed to a sweaty piece of meat), that you appreciate her beauty (and beautiful women) but you’re not intimidated or especially impressed by it, and that you need to hear more before you let her into your life. When you do this, you will stand out from the crowd that asks her the same questions over and over and over—and she’ll be more than happy to pick YOU up!

Tim Togo Mengundurkan Diri

Piala dunia 2010, Kapten tim Togo Emmanuel Adebayor mengatakan kepada sebuah radio Perancis bahwa mereka akan mundur dari Piala Afrika sesuai dengan saran dari pemerintah.

Meski pada awalnya tim ingin mundur dari turnamen Piala Afrika ini setelah terjadi serangan yang menewaskan tiga orang hari Jumat, lalu mereka mengatakan akan tetap berada di Angola.

Tetapi Perdana Menteri Togo Gilbert Houngbo bersikeras agar timnas mereka meninggalkan Angola dengan alasan keamanan.

Pihak penyelenggara mengatakan bahwa pertandingan akan dilangsungkan sesuai jadwal.

Adebayor yang bermain untuk klub Inggris Manchester City sebelumnya mengatakan bahwa mereka tidak ingin merusak turnamen Piala Afrika yang secara resmi dimulai semalam, dengan pertandingan tuan rumah Angola melawan Mali.

Namun setelah berkonsultasi dengan para pejabat pemerintah, Adebayor mengatakan akan menuruti saran mereka.

"Hari Jumat lalu, jam 14.30 beberapa orang tewas dalam bis kami. Kami sudah mengirim pesan terakhir kepada keluarga, seakan kami akan mati. Sekarang saya mengatakan kepada diri saya sendiri: "karena toh kami sudah berada di Angola, mengapa tidak bermain saja."

"Pihak berwenang memutuskan kami harus pulang, jadi kami akan pulang." tambahnya.

Adebayor juga mengatakan bahwa dia berbicara dengan para pemain Pantai Gading, dan Ghana, dua tim lainnya yang di grup mereka.

"Mereka menyatakan dukungan dengan mengatakan merekla siap untuk meninggalkan kompetisi bila kami melakukannya," tambah Adebayor.

"Tetapi akhirnya kami sadar bahwa mereka siap terus bertanding. Ini terjadi di benua dimana beberapa bulan lagi akan berlangsung Piala Dunia."

"Bila kita berbicara mengenai para korban, kompetisi ini seharusnya dibatalkan. Tetapi Konfederasi Sepakbola Afrika memutuskan sebaliknya."

A source told Britain’s Star magazine: “To motivate her, she’s splurged out on a $50,000 home gym for her New York mansion. She’s also consulted trainers, nutritionists and doctors, looking for the safest way to drop the weight in record time.”

The singer, 38, recently revealed she used to worry that she would never have kids.

“You start getting older, you think to yourself, maybe [having kids] is just not meant for me,” she said. “I knew there was nothing wrong with me.

“I knew that I could. Deep down, I really wanted it badly.

“Even after one year, two years, three years, you know, you start thinking to yourself, ‘well maybe,’” added the star.
